Just coming back from Ambedkar Bhawan, Delhi. After 4 days of half-nude protest by Dalits of Haryana, none from Delhi came to ask anything. Netas came, give speeches but finding that villagers are not going with their tricks, retreated, did not even provide food & they ate dinner at 12 in the night after whole day protest by their own Rs 2100 on the road of this premise founded by Dr Ambedkar himself -Nikhil Sablania

Till 10-15 years back Dalit homes in slums of Delhi had not toilets in Delhi, none financial support ever provided by either Congress or BJP, whereas their neighboring areas of upper caste Hindus, Sikhs & Jains have as big homes as 10 to 80 homes of Dalits. In Sainik farm in Delhi, such one home of these people is equal to as big as 800 to 4000 Dalit homes in slums of Delhi.

This is what govt. facilities provided to SC/ST students? Even a one room home rent is 3000 (slum) to 6000 (Janta flat). This is what three times chief minister Shila Dixit (Brhamin) of Congress provides to Dalits and Adivasis.

Today is birth anniversary of Shahu ji Maharaj, a great King who started reservation for the first time in India which got scholarship to Dr. B R Ambedkar and later post of a top bureaucrat in his ministry. Let us salute this great visionary of India.
